EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the PPP Consultancy Services for Government Technical College Ikotun and Government Technical College Ado Soba.
Under the Public-Private Partnership component of the Lagos EKO Secondary Education Project, the Government Technical Colleges in Ikotun and Ado Soba has been earmarked for development as Centres of Excellence in the Electrical Engineering and Automobile trades to meet the wider needs of the world of works, entrepreneurship and higher education.
The proposed Individual Consultant will undertake the PPP Project Consultant role in the Lagos EKO Project Support Unit and would be expected to carry out the following tasks:
1. Manage and supervise the supply, installation of training equipment and training of existing teaching staff to operate this equipment.
2. Manage the process for revamping of the two workshops located at GTC Ado Soba and GTC Ikotun which includes ensuring compliance of the supplied equipment with the recommended specifications for;
- Power Generation, Distribution and Regenerative Technologies.
- Electrical Installation
- Electrical Machines
- Automobile Mechanic Work
- Training of staff to operate equipment

The Lagos EKO Project now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, 2011
