CONSULTANCY ON STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS’ SCORES FOR NOVEMBER 2012 BASELINE ASSESSMENTS AND WAEC MAY/JUNE 2007 – 2011 RESULTS

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

 

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply parts of the proceeds for Consultancy on Statistical Data Analysis of Students’ Scores for November 2012 Baseline Assessments and WAEC May/June 2007 – 2011 Results.

The objective of this consultancy is:

• To independently carry out the analysis of the results from the 649 junior and senior secondary schools taking part in the November, 2012 Baseline Assessment;
• To carry out the qualitative analysis on each school of  the 313 senior secondary schools and their results in the Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC May/June 2007 - 2011).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess a minimum of postgraduate degree in Information Systems Administration or its equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years international experience in data analysis, statistical tracking and evaluation with a bias in Oracle Applications;
• Possess adequate knowledge of data manipulation, data modeling and administration with at least 2 years hands-on experience as a statistician;
• Must have attained the post of senior data analyst in a reputable organization.

 

The Lagos EKO Project now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, 2011
