BASELINE SURVEY OF ICT IN LAGOS STATE PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply parts of the proceeds for Baseline Survey of ICT in Lagos State Public Secondary Schools. Objective: The aim of this exercise is to generate and compile a comprehensive quantitative data about ICT in secondary schools and also gauge the level of assistance required by these schools as it relates to infrastructure, personnel and mode of ICT operation.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PLAN OF THE LAGOS EKO SECONDARY EDUCATION PROJECT

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply parts of the proceeds for Environmental Management Plan of the Lagos Eko Secondary Education Project Objective: The objectives of the Environmental Audit are (i) to assess the development and implementation of environmental safeguards policies (OP 4.01 – Environmental Assessment) under Eko project and (ii) to provide recommendations on concrete steps for the Project to take.
CONSULTANCY SERVICES ON VIDEO DOCUMENTARY ON THE LAGOS EKO PROJECT AND PROFESSIONAL VIDEO COVERAGE OF THE 2014 GOVERNOR’S EDUCATION AWARD CEREMONY

Objective: The aim of this exercise is to produce a world-class professional video documentary on the activities and achievements of the Lagos Eko Secondary Education Project highlighting the projects, events and the overall improvement of the quality.

The objective of this consultancy is: To select publishable pictures of about 6000 for the two-volume book to be produced by the Project.
Evaluation of the Procedure, Processes & Performance of the School Development Grants

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Evaluation of the Procedure, Processes & Performance of the School Development Grants. As the Eko project is set for closure, the PSU intends to commission a study on the overall performance of the Lagos Eko Project Grant in the 642 Secondary Schools that received grants. The Project is undertaking this assessment with the expectation that its findings will be useful in the formulation and introduction of a follow-on operation, thereby sustaining the educational gains achieved by the Lagos Eko Project.

Live Event Creative & Technical Production Management for the 2013 Governors Education Award

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Live Event Creative & Technical Production Management for the 2013 Governor’s Education Award. The Project is documenting students’ achievements in a unique and creative manner. This is planned to be achieved using the strategy of ‘learning through play’. The Project will be using the opportunity of the Governor’s Education Award to perform and produce sound and video tracks that have both entertainment and didactic qualities.

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Event Day Coverage and Documentary Production for the 2013 Governor’s Education Award. The project will be awarding about 128 schools that have achieved the most improved learning outcomes through the Governor’s Education Award. The award ceremony usually signifies the end of term and it is the most coveted education award in the state.
Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Consultancy Services for Government Technical College Ikotun and Government Technical College Ado Soba

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the PPP Consultancy Services for Government Technical College Ikotun and Government Technical College Ado Soba. Under the Public-Private Partnership component of the Lagos EKO Secondary Education Project, the Government Technical Colleges in Ikotun and Ado Soba has been earmarked for development as Centres of Excellence in the Electrical Engineering and Automobile trades to meet the wider needs of the world of works, entrepreneurship and higher education.
PHOTOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN LAGOS STATE

The Lagos State Government has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply parts of the proceeds for Photographic Documentation for all Public Secondary Schools in Lagos State. The PSU is taking stock of its various interventions in all 661 public junior and senior secondary schools in Lagos State. In view of this, the Project is embarking on a photo documentation exercise. The exercise will involve 15 experienced photographers to cover the 661 schools, including those in the riverine.
